Light of the World Family Worship Church is a Bible believing, non-denominational church founded in March 2004 under the inspiration of God and the visionary leadership of Pastor Leo Sherard.\u00a0 Pastor Sherard along with 15 adults and 9 children planted the church in Lawrenceville, New Jersey to offer people in Mercer County and surrounding communities the opportunity to build genuine relationships with God and people through worship, discipleship, ministry, fellowship and evangelism.<\/p>\n
During the first three years of the ministry, services were held in various locations that included Lawrence High School, Lawrence Middle School, Rider University (Gill Memorial Chapel) and Lawrence Road Fire Company.\u00a0 However, on December 29, 2006, the church became the proud owner of a worship facility located in Hamilton, New Jersey.\u00a0 With the acquisition of this property the members were excited about the opportunities to expand the church\u2019s ability to reach people, build believers and change lives \u2013 all for the glory of God.<\/p>\n

Because God gives us eternal life through Jesus Christ, the true believer is secure in that salvation for eternity.\u00a0 If you have been genuinely saved, you cannot \u201close\u201d it.\u00a0 Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.\u00a0 It is the grace and keeping power of God that gives us this security.<\/p>\n
